We’ve been running Cornish Knitting Retreats for a few years now, and one of the things we love most is seeing women return year after year. Over time, and thanks to all your feedback, we’ve refined every detail, and this year we feel we’ve cracked the code for the perfect balance of learning, comfort, and relaxation.
Whether you’re a seasoned knitter, a crochet enthusiast, or just starting out, our retreats offer expert guidance, inspiring projects, and the freedom to create at your own pace. Set against the stunning Cornish coastline, you’ll enjoy delicious food, cosy surroundings, and the joy of sharing laughter, tips, and stories with fellow crafters. It’s time dedicated entirely to you and your knitting.

Retreat Packages
All of the retreats will be slightly different, but the core differences between our retreat packages are as follows. Please note that all retreats include an afternoon tea on the last day:
Relax Away
We’ve taken all your favourite parts from last year’s retreats and shaped them into a relaxing few days filled with good food, calm creativity, and plenty of time to knit and chat. Enjoy full days dedicated to your projects, connect with like-minded women, and indulge in delicious home-cooked light lunches, evening meals, endless nibbles and cake, a special Afternoon Tea at the Greenbank Hotel, and a lovely dinner out at a local restaurant.
Workshop Retreats
This year, we’re delighted to offer two guided retreats: a Gansey Retreat in March and a Crochet Retreat in September.
These retreats include everything in the Relax Away experience, with the addition of a focused 3-hour workshop each morning, giving you the space to learn, grow in confidence, and create something special alongside others.

When was the last time you did something just for yourself? Our retreat offers the perfect opportunity to escape, restore your balance, and enjoy a few days dedicated entirely to you. Over four nights in one of the most scenic spots along the Cornish Coast, you can relax, knit or crochet, share delicious meals, and a delicious meal out at local restaurant after soaking up the stunning coastline or the vibrant local town.

Tuition
On the workshop based retreats, expert knitters and crocheters will guide you through your projects, and focus on a specific technique or project. Plus, the group is always happy to share tips and advice.

Knitting and Chatting
Spend your days dedicated to your yarny projects, meet like-minded crafters, and visit the shop to stock up on supplies.

Food
Enjoy self-service breakfasts with locally sourced options, home-cooked light lunches, evening meals, plenty of nibbles and cake, and an Afternoon Tea at Greenbank Hotel. Let us know any dietary requirements in advance.
