Fancy getting away and doing something that is just for you? Want to spend all day knitting, chatting and eating in the company of friends old and new?

Then we are excited to offer our first ever knitting retreat here in our beautiful seaside home town of Falmouth.

When was the last time you did something just for yourself? It's probably longer ago than you think.
​
Our retreat will be the perfect place to come to escape and restore your equillibrium, to relax, sit and knit or crochet, eating great food together with other people who want to do just that. And you will have the stunning coastline and bustling town on your doorstep if you want some bracing fresh air, or want to brave a winter swim. This retreat is located in one of the most scenic places along the Cornish Coast and is for 4 nights all inclusive.

You will be in for a wonderful few days dedicated to you and your yarnie project. There will be expert knitters and crocheters on hand to help you with your projects, and if they don't know the answer (they will) someone in the group will jump in to help, or share their experience.
You can also visit the shop to stock up on supplies!

Here are the details:

Dates: Arrive from 1600 on Thursday 23rd Nov 2023 - leave by 1000 on Monday 27th Nov 2023 (4 nights)
​
Venue: Swanpool View, Falmouth, Cornwall
Food: We will provide plenty of options for a self service breakfast all sourced locally
You will get a home cooked light lunch and evening meal as well as plenty of nibbles and cake!
Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements

Itinerary:
​
Thursday 23rd: Arrival and a welcome drink and evening meal with time to get settled and start your project
​
Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th:
Morning: work on your own project work with expert help OR we have a planned tutor led workshop everyday from 1030 - 1230 with a couple of exciting project options to work on. Its up to you!
​
Afternoon: free time to either work on your project or have a wander on the beach or into the town
​
Evening Meal will be at 1900
​
Sunday afternoon we will have afternoon tea at the Greenbank Hotel (included in the price)
​
Monday 27th: breakfast and depart by 10 am
​
We will also be offering 4 x day guest places if you would like to join us for a day, or if you wanted to join us but have booked your accomodation elsewhere.

Accomodation and prices:
​
The accomodation is a beautiful luxury property right on the edge of the beach with loads of natural light. It has an open plan layout with the stylish lounge as the epicentre of the property with beautiful furnishings throughout.
​
The property has an open plan fully equipped kitchen and dining area with seating for 8 people.
​
There are 4 large bedrooms - 2 of which have ensuite facilities and there is one family bathroom.
​
Please note that the property is on several levels so you will need to be able to navigate stairs.
​
The Master bedroom has a kingsize bed (so 2 friends could share if they wanted to) and en suite bathroom
Single occupancy: £600
Shareed occupancy: £420 each

Bedroom 2 has a Super kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom (so 2 friends could share if they wanted to)
Single occupancy: £600
Shared occupancy: £420 each

Bedroom 3 has a double bed
Single occupancy: £500

Bedroom 4 has twin beds so ideal for sharing
Shared occupancy: £450 each

Outside there is a beautful balcony overlooking the sea and parking is available nearby.

Day Guest rates: £75 per day (includes lunch) and additional £25 if you would like to join us for afternoon tea on Sunday. Please contact us if you would like to book a place.
