But knitting in the round is more convenient, easy to do, is more efficient, and you don't have seams to sew up at the end. Win Win! From cowls, socks, hats, and sweaters more and more knitting pattern designers than ever are deciding to create their new patterns knitted on circular needles. Learning this technique will open up a whole new world of patterns and knitting opportunities for you. We aim to give you the skills and confidence to begin knitting in the round on this workshop. COURSE OUTLINE: Introduce the different methods and tools for knitting in the round Casting on a hat or a cowl with circular needles Magic loop Shaping WHAT"S INCLUDED: The needles and pattern WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING: 1 x 100g skein of an aran weight yarn of your choice TUTOR: Jane is an experienced knitter and crocheter.
