TELL ME MORE
Sashiko is the ancient Japanese art of ‘stab’ stitching using stitch to recycle and repair farming and fishing clothing to withstand winter and last longer. It combines a country style with stylish and intricate designs all created by a simple running stitch.
These lovely bags make ideal small project bags, pencil cases and make up bags either for yourself or to give as a gift.
You will learn how to sew with a sashiko needle and thread and you will need to be able to use a sewing machine to insert a zip and sew the bag components together.
