With a new season comes a host of new patterns and ideas for new garments that can be made from existing patterns. Here’s a quick round up of patterns we have – both sewing and knitting – that would be perfect for boosting your cold weather wardrobe.
New in stock for us is the range of sewing patterns from The Avid Seamstress. The Day Dress pattern would look amazing in one of our corduroys and they also have The Coat pattern which our new boucle wools are perfect for.
Also new is the Tilly & The Buttons Indigo dress pattern. This is designed for stretch fabrics and we have so many to choose from. How about a blue leopard print or a vibrant Suri Autumn Flowers jersey?
We’ve also added the Deer & Doe sewing patterns to our range and there’s lots here for autumn too. The ever-popular Sirocco jumpsuit is for knit fabrics and it would look great in our new ponte romas like this bottle green one.
If colder weather and darker evenings make you reach for your knitting needles, we have some lovely patterns for you too. WYS have released 3 patterns books to go with their The Croft Shetland yarns – Country, Tweed, and Colours. They contain a range of patterns for all the family to keep you occupied all winter.
The cure for cold feet can be found in The Sock Drawer – a collection of 10 beautiful sock knitting patterns from Truly Hooked – we have 15 colourways of their sock yarn in stock so you’ll never run out of socks again!
If you love knitting for children, we have WYS Bo Peep Story book which contains 13 baby & childrens designs using rainbow inspiration, cool colour blocking and fun details.
Not everyone looks forward to colder weather but having a list of sewing, knitting and crochet projects lined up is always something to celebrate.
